Common questions
How do I change the tempo?
Turn the Digital Crown on the main screen. The tempo goes from 30 to 240 BPM. You can change it while the metronome is playing.
How do I change the time signature?
Tap the time signature button next to Start (for example 4/4) and choose 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 or 6/8. You can change it while the metronome is playing.
I can't hear the click
Open the settings with the gear icon at the top right and check that sound is switched on (Geluid). Then check that your watch isn't in silent mode and that the volume is up.
If the screen shows that there is no sound, the watch couldn't play audio at that moment. The haptic taps keep working, and you can try again with Stop and Start.
I can't feel the taps
Open the settings and check that haptics are switched on (Trilling). If both sound and haptics are off, you won't hear or feel anything: only the beats on the screen keep going.
What are the different taps for?
Every beat gets a light tap. Beat 1 gets a quick double tap, so you always know where the bar starts. You can switch the accent on beat 1 off in the settings (Accent op tel 1).
Does it keep playing when the screen dims?
Yes. Takti asks watchOS to keep running while your wrist is lowered and the screen is dimmed. If watchOS ends the session anyway, the metronome stops and the app shows a short message. Tap Start to continue.
Do I need an iPhone?
No. Takti works on its own on your Apple Watch.
Which Apple Watch do I need?
Any Apple Watch that runs watchOS 26 or later.
